We dined at 1:00 on a Sunday.
There was a wonderful space to sit over looking the water, or many spaces available in the dining room upstairs, which looked like a converted shed. It was appropriately coastal and rustic.
The food on offer was traditional fish and chip fare. We ordered the seafood platter for two. It had fish (gummy shark), octopus tentacles, prawns, chips etc. it was ready quickly and was fresh and hot. The batter was tasty and not overwhelming.
There was a nice array of soft drinks, beer and wine on offer.
The staff were very friendly and courteous.
Live music was setting up as we left.
A nice place to enjoy fresh and tasty seafood.
One of the best fish&chips I have ever eat.
We got the 15$ Calamari Box (6 calamari, they could add some more for the price you pay) and the 20$ Kingfish Fish&Chips.
They advertise themselves as an award winning Fish&Chips, and I totally agree with that.
PS: they charge way too much if you want sauce… 2$ for the tartare and sweet chili and 1,5$ for the tomato sauce.
For these reasons I don’t give them the 5 stars.
Great location, great views, great calamari and chips, paired with a cold bevvie. We love returning to this little gem each year ☺️
